Modeling Informed Leadership

This toolkit is a resource to support community leaders respond to the needs of their communities in the face of this global pandemic and public health crisis. In these times of social distancing, traditional community organising strategies that emphasise large-scale gatherings and one-on-one in-person meetings have been forcibly stopped. Does this mean that community organising stops? No. But the need to rethink and re-envision community organising, currently at odds with community health best practices, is more important than ever.

The Problem

How can we best support community leaders filling in the gaps left by governments in serving the most vulnerable populations?

Our Goal

By providing a toolkit of mental health, resources for community leaders and volunteers engaged in community action and mobilisation in the face of Covid-19.

  • Modeling informed leadership and connected community

  • Leveraging pre-existing networks and communities

  • Equipping community leaders with public and mental health resources
